PoE-adapters zijn zeer betrouwbaar, en wanneer ze gebruikt worden met Ubiquiti TOUGHCable, bieden ze aarding en overspanningsbeveiliging om te helpen beschermen tegen elektrostatische ontlading (ESD). De 15V, 0,8A en 24V, 0,5A modellen, POE-15-12W, POE-24-12W en POE-24-12W-G, werken met de airGateway om airMAX verbindingen te overbruggen naar Wi-Fi op klantlocaties.
